Books Purchased by FCU Faculty Members Going Abroad
Introduction
- Each full-time faculty member is allocated a fund of US$2,000 per academic year to purchase conference proceedings or professional books during overseas visits. The purchased materials are processed as part of the library's holdings.
- The funds are only for book prices; transportation (shipping & handling) charges are not included.
Procedures for Reimbursement
In order to receive reimbursement, faculty members must submit the following documents to the library:
- Download the form and fill it out properly with the signature of the Dean or Director of your department.
- Quotation, invoice, or receipt title must be Feng Chia University.
- If payment was made by credit card, a copy of the credit card bill is needed. The reimbursement will reflect the amount of NT dollars on the bill.
- If the payment was made by cash, the reimbursement will reflect the selling exchange rate from the Bank of Taiwan on the day which the material was purchased.
