Information for Borrowing and Returning Library Materials during the Winter Vacation

  1. The library will provide borrowing and returning services during the winter vacation. Beginning on January 8, 2016, the borrowing period for materials borrowed or renewed will span the winter vacation. The due date will be displayed by the system.
  2. Those who are unable to return materials on time are responsible for extending the due date. Fees for late returns will be charged in accordance with Article 7 of the Feng Chia University Guidelines for Borrowing Library Resources.

    1. For the final exams week is approaching, the Main Library adjusted its opening hours from Jan. 6 to Jan. 14, 2016 as follows. Classrooms 110 of the Chiu Feng Chia Memorial Hall will open for use as additional study space. The opening hours of the Library Branches and the study room of the Science and Aeronautical Engineering Building (SAEB) remain the same as ordinary days.

    Thesis/Dissertation Submission Details for the First Semester of the 2015-2016 Academic Year

    1. Master’s and PhD students who plan to graduate in the first semester of the 2015-2016 academic year should submit electronic and paper copies of their thesis/dissertation to the Library Reference Desk (extension 2683) no later than Tuesday, February 16, 2016. (Note: submission deadlines are announced by the Registration and Curriculum Section.)

    1. The examination period (hereafter the period) is from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6, 2015. During this period, opening hours of the Main Library, Mon.-Fri., are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on Sat.-Sun. are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The opening hours of the Library Branches and the study room of the Science and Aeronautical Engineering Building (SAEB) remain the same as ordinary days.
