- Article 1 In accordance with Article 6 of the Feng Chia University Library Reading Services Directives, these guidelines are formulated to effectively manage the use of mailboxes within the library.
- Article 2 Mailboxes are prohibited from storing hazardous materials such as flammable, corrosive, or forbidden items, as well as perishable food items.
- Article 3 The library's mailboxes provide storage space only; users are responsible for the safekeeping of valuable items. The library is not liable for storage or compensation.
- Article 4 Users should take their stored items with them when leaving. Items left behind will be treated as abandoned, and the library may periodically announce clearance or transfer them to the university's Student Counseling Division, following Feng Chia University's procedures for handling lost items.
- Article 5 If library materials are found among the abandoned items, they will be returned on behalf of the library. Any overdue fines will be handled in accordance with Feng Chia University Library Collection Resource Borrowing Directives.
- Article 6 Users are responsible for compensating for any damage to the mailbox facilities.
- Article 7 The guidelines were adopted at the Library Affairs Meeting and approved by the President before being promulgated and implemented. The same applies to amendments.
These Guidelines were translated from the original Chinese version. In the event of any discrepancies between the two versions, the Chinese version always takes precedence.
