New release of the Journal Citation Reports
The journal selection process for the Journal Citation Reports is an ongoing exercise focused on identifying, evaluating and selecting the most important and influential international and regional journals for coverage in Thomson Reuters Web of Science®. Once citations are available for a minimum two-year period, the data is analyzed and published in the Journal Citation Reports on the Web (JCR Web).
The 2013 release of the Journal Citation Reports include:
- 10,853 journal listings in 232 disciplines
- Representation of 83 countries
- 379 journals receiving their first Journal Impact Factor
