Feng Chia University Library Access Control Directions

  1. Employees and students within the school's establishment shall enter the library by swiping their service cards or student cards.
  2. Non-school appointed research assistants, short-term extension program participants, and credit course students shall enter the library by swiping their respective units' issued Feng Chia Cards.
  3. Adjunct faculty members shall enter the library by swiping the service card issued by the Office of Human Resources.
  4. Retired faculty and staff shall enter the library by swiping the service card originally issued by the Office of Human Resources.
  5. Graduated alumni shall enter the library by swiping the library membership card issued by the library.
  6. Students and faculty from the Central Taiwan Library Alliance, including schools such as Da-Yeh, Chung Shan Medical, Chung Hsing, Chinese Medicine, Taichung Education, Tunghai, Chaoyang, Changhua Normal, Jiannan, Providence University, Ching Yun, Hungkuang, Chienkuo, NTCU, Ling Tung, Asia, Hsiuping, Taichung University of Education, MingDao, Qiaoguang, etc., shall enter the library by swiping the library card issued by their respective alliance libraries.
  7. Students and faculty from the Greater Chinese University Library Alliance, including schools such as Tatung, Chung Yuan, Chinese Culture, Shih Hsin, Soochow, Tunghai, Tamkang, Shih Chien, Taipei Medical, Fu Jen, Ming Chuan, and Providence University, shall enter the library by swiping the library card issued by their respective schools.
  8. Students and faculty participating in the Chinese Library Interlibrary Cooperation Association shall enter the library by swiping the viewing card issued by the association.
  9. Personnel from specially contracted cooperating institutions shall enter the library by swiping the Feng Chia Card issued by the relevant certification unit.
  10. External organizations or groups wishing to visit the library must obtain permission and schedule a visit with library personnel.
  11. All individuals entering the library for reading or studying must adhere to the library's regulations. Violators will be reported to the Office of Student Affairs or Campus Police for further action.
  12. The directions were adopted by the Feng Chia University Library Committee and approved by the President before being promulgated and implemented. The same applies to amendments.
