Approved by the President and promulgated on November 20, 2002
- Article 1 In order to promote improvements and development in library services, and fully unleash the functions of the library, the "Feng Chia University Library Committee" (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) is established.
- Article 2 The tasks of the Committee are as follows:
- Review of important regulations of the library.
- Suggestions for the development of library services.
- Decision on budget preparation and allocation principles for the library.
- Formulation and promotion of various library policies.
- Development of the medium to long-term plans for the library.
- Article 3 The Committee consists of the Library Director, two faculty representatives from each college, one representative each from graduate students and undergraduate students. Faculty representatives from each college are appointed by their respective colleges, and student representatives are appointed by the Student Union.
- Article 4 The term of office for committee members is one academic year, with the possibility of reappointment.
- Article 5 The Committee holds regular meetings once per semester and may convene ad-hoc meetings when necessary. The meetings are convened by the Library Director, who also serves as the chairperson.
- Article 6 A quorum for the Committee meeting requires the presence of two-thirds or more of the members, and resolutions require the approval of more than half of the attending members.
- Article 7 The organizational regulations were adopted at the Administrative Meeting and approved by the President before being promulgated and implemented. The same applies to amendments.
These Organizational Regulations were translated from the original Chinese version. In the event of any discrepancies between the two versions, the Chinese version always takes precedence.
