Books Purchased by FCU Faculty Members Going Abroad


  1. Each full-time faculty member is allocated a fund of US$2,000 per academic year to purchase conference proceedings or professional books during overseas visits. The purchased materials are processed as part of the library's holdings.
  2. The funds are only for book prices; transportation (shipping & handling) charges are not included.

Procedures for Reimbursement

In order to receive reimbursement, faculty members must submit the following documents to the library:

  1. Download the form and fill it out properly with the signature of the Dean or Director of your department.
  2. Quotation, invoice, or receipt title must be Feng Chia University.
  3. If payment was made by credit card, a copy of the credit card bill is needed. The reimbursement will reflect the amount of NT dollars on the bill.
  4. If the payment was made by cash, the reimbursement will reflect the selling exchange rate from the Bank of Taiwan on the day which the material was purchased.
